(NEWS) Bride Escapes Death Few Minutes After Wedding In Lagos

This bride has many reasons to be grateful to God as she and her man almost got killed just minutes after their wedding, they narrowly escaped death in an auto crash while on their way from the wedding reception.

The accident involving a NNPC tanker, a cargo truck and two saloon cars happened at about 4:45pm close to the Otedola bridge, Alausa, on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, last Saturday.

The bride and her husband were said to have jumped out of their car...
A Punch reporter who witnessed the accident said the NNPC truck, while descending the slop from Alausa at top speed, could not hold its break. It then ran into the first car and squashed the second one against the cargo truck.

When the reporter got to accident scene, the groom was no where in sight. His elder sister confirmed that they were coming from the wedding reception of the couple when the unfortunate accident happened.

She was seen kneeling down and thanking God for their escape but refused to give the name of the couple.
